Rear/Sub Selectable Preout w/LPF
If you're adding a subwoofer system, it's nice to have a dedicated sub preamp output with its own crossover and level control. The trouble is, you usually have to spend a little extra cash to get it. Not so any more, thanks to Sony's Selectable Sub- Out output. In surprisingly affordable headunit models, this preamp output can be switched from a full-range output to a sub out with a low-pass crossover and an independent level control. It will really bump up the power to your subs so you can be heard around town.
