EQ3 Parametric
With adjustable center frequency and adjustable Q (which is how much the adjacent frequencies are influenced), parametric equalization gives much greater control than simple “boost” and “cut” of graphic equalization. In a nutshell, parametric equalization offers even greater control over the shaping the sound as you want it.
Seven different presets included with EQ3 Parametric are:
- Xplod
- Vocal
- Edge
- Cruise
- Space
- Gravity
- Custom
These each offer a wide variety of solutions to different sound reproduction challenges found in the automotive environment, and each preset can be fine tuned for optimal performance in every application and installation. Each preset focuses on different areas of the audio spectrum, and the center equalization frequencies change according to the specific needs of the individual music types identified by the preset name.
