Two buttons…

Before you can enjoy the Bluetooth functionality found in the MEX-BT2500, you must complete the pairing process. In order to do so, the head unit must be OFF. Depress the OFF Button so that the clock appears on-screen.
To begin the Bluetooth pairing process, depress the EQ Button until the BT icon appears in the right-hand side of the screen. Continue to do so until it is flashing.
Once the BT icon is flashing, any searching device will be able to identify the MEX-BT2500 and pair to it. Look for a device named “XPLōD” on the device you wish to pair to the head unit.
Enter the Passcode “0000” and confirm. Both your mobile phone and the head unit should now be properly configured and functioning correctly.
As a visual cue, double check to ensure that both the Bluetooth logo and the corresponding device indicator appear on-screen in the head unit’s display. (NOTE: In the case shown, a Sony Ericsson mobile phone has been paired to the MEX-BT2500, so both indicators appear.)
